01How it works
Start with a text. Connect a bank later.
No app, no dashboard, no forms. Text a number and ask anything.
Step 1: Text Jaga
Say hi from iMessage on your iPhone. There’s no app to download; your messages are the app.
Step 2: Connect one account
When you choose to connect a bank, Jaga texts a jaga.example link that opens Plaid, where you sign in on your bank’s own screen. Jaga gets read-only access and never sees your login. Optional to start.
Step 3: Say yes, or don’t
Jaga texts when it finds something worth your time, with the receipts. Nothing changes until you confirm.
02Features
Jaga does a money app’s everyday work, without the app.

03What you can ask
Ask it what you’d ask a friend who’s good with money.
No commands, no menus. Ask the way you’d say it out loud. Jaga answers in a line or two, and shows the transactions behind every number.
- You: Can I afford dinner out tonight?
- Jaga: Yes. With Friday’s $2,480 paycheck, you’ll still have about $3,132 in checking on Nov 1, after your phone bill, card bill and rent.
- Jaga: Dining is already $62.60 over this month, so I’d keep tonight under $40.
From your bills, paycheck and 11 dining transactions
- You: Find subscriptions I forgot about
- Jaga: You pay $153.45 a month across 6 subscriptions. Two are worth a look. Nothing has been cancelled.
- Jaga: Adobe Creative Cloud has charged $59.99 every month since July.
- Jaga: Hulu renews Oct 28 at $17.99. You also pay for Netflix and Spotify. If you’re not watching Hulu anymore, want me to cancel it?

04Your control
Nothing changes without your yes.
Jaga sees balances and transactions, read-only, and never moves your money. It acts only on your yes, and you decide how much it’s allowed to do. Change your mind anytime by text.
Level 1 of 4 · Read
Read: It can look. It can’t touch.
Can
- See balances and transactions, read-only
- Answer anything you ask, with receipts
- Send you a Sunday summary of your week
Can’t
- Text you first about anything else
- Suggest changes
- Send you a cancel page or a bank link
Example, sample data
You: What did I spend on rides this month?
Jaga: $94.25 so far in October. That leaves $25.75 of your $120 rides budget.
Level 2 of 4 · Suggest
Suggest: It speaks up, with receipts.
Can
- Everything at Read
- Text you about a fee, a subscription worth a look or overspending
- Show the transactions behind every heads-up
Can’t
- Take any action, even a small one
- Text you more often than you’ve allowed
Example, sample data
Jaga: Dining is at $412.60 this month, $62.60 over the $350 you planned. Want details?
You: Yes
Jaga: Here’s every dining charge since Oct 1, biggest first. Nothing has been changed.
Level 3 of 4 · Ask
Ask: It proposes. You decide.
Can
- Everything at Suggest
- Propose one specific action at a time
- Do it after you tap Confirm or reply yes
Can’t
- Act on anything you haven’t said yes to in the thread
- Turn one yes into several actions
Example, sample data
Jaga: Hulu renews Oct 28 at $17.99. You also pay for Netflix and Spotify. If you’re not watching Hulu anymore, want me to cancel it?
You: yes
Jaga: Here’s Hulu’s own cancel page. Cancel there, and I’ll confirm here when the $17.99 charge stops.
Jaga: That’s $215.88 a year back.
Level 4 of 4 · Remind
Remind: Your schedule. Your move.
Can
- Everything at Ask
- Send the reminders you’ve confirmed, on their schedule
- Put a link to your bank in each one
Can’t
- Move money, even on a schedule
- Keep sending reminders after you text PAUSE or STOP
Example, sample data
You: Remind me to move $200 to savings every payday
Jaga: I can set that up: a reminder to move $200 from checking to savings each payday, starting Oct 23, with a link to your bank. Want me to start it?
You: yes
Jaga: Reminder on. Each payday, starting Oct 23, I’ll text you to move $200, with a link to your bank. PAUSE freezes it.
Free works at Read, with a Sunday summary and receipts on every answer. Plus adds Suggest, Ask and Remind.
True at every level
Reading your accounts is read-only through Plaid. Jaga never moves, holds or receives your money: when a move makes sense, it texts you the amount, both accounts and a link to your own bank, and you make the move there. Jaga never logs in as you, never calls a company as you, and never messages anyone but you.
Never asks for passwords
Jaga will never ask for your password, PIN or a security code by text. If a text asks for one, it isn’t from Jaga.
Your data isn’t for sale
Jaga never sells your data or trains AI on it. Who handles it, and for what, is listed below.
One text to stop
- PAUSE
- freezes every reminder
- STOP
- ends texts, pauses every reminder and stops Plus from renewing
- DELETE
- erases everything
Things Jaga will never do
- Move, hold or receive your money.
- Offer you loans or cash advances.
- Put ads or upsells in your texts.
- Present a guess as a fact. When it isn’t sure, it says so.
We don’t show security badges we haven’t earned.
Who handles your data
- Plaid connects your bank, read-only, and has its own privacy policy for what it does with that data.
- A messaging provider delivers your texts, over iMessage or through the phone carriers.
- A payments processor handles only your Plus payments.
- A cloud host stores your data, encrypted in transit and at rest.
- One AI provider processes your texts under a contract that forbids training on your data, and Jaga never trains AI on it.
- Our privacy policy names every provider and links to each one’s own policy.
05Quiet by default
You decide how often Jaga texts you.
Most money apps either nag you all day or go silent when it matters. Jaga texts first only when there’s money at stake, unless you ask for a daily brief, and anything late waits until morning.
Jaga is useful, not annoying.

06Do the math
See what Jaga could find for you.
An estimate, not a promise. Move the sliders and the math is right there.
Your numbers
They start at the demo’s numbers, so you get the same $1,255 a year Jaga found above. Move them to match yours.
In checking, or savings paying close to 0%. The demo suggests moving $8,000 of its $8,200 to the high-yield account it already has.
Charges you’d cancel if you don’t use them. In the demo, the two it asks about: Hulu ($17.99) and Adobe ($59.99).
The ones a heads-up a few days early would have stopped. The demo has none.
Assumes the savings move to a high-yield savings account in your name paying about 4.00% APY, an illustrative rate (rates change), against 0.01% where it sits now. Jaga never moves money: you make the move in your own bank. Money friends owe you isn’t counted: it’s already yours. Your results will differ.
Your estimate
About $1,255 a year
That’s about $105 a month.
- Interest on savings, moved to a high-yield account in your name$8,000 × (4.00% − 0.01%) =$319 earned
- Subscriptions you’d cancel$78/mo × 12 =$936 saved
- Late fees and overdrafts$0 a year =$0 avoided
Next to Plus, at $60 a year
- Estimate
- $1,255
- Plus
- $60
About 21× what Plus costs in a year.
Plus is $5 a month, billed yearly. This estimate counts what the money-back promise counts: the yearly value of subscriptions you cancel, fees you avoid and extra interest from moves you make at Jaga’s suggestion. If Plus hasn’t found more than you paid within 30 days of your first charge, text REFUND for all of it. See plans

“Found” means the yearly value of subscriptions you cancelled through Jaga, fees it helped you avoid, and the yearly extra interest from moves you made at its suggestion, counted from your first charge through day 30. So cancelling a $17.99 monthly subscription counts as $215.88.
No cash advances, express fees, tips, or a cut of your savings, ever.

No. Jaga never sells your data or uses it to train AI. Plaid connects your bank, read-only, and has its own privacy policy for what it does with that data. A cloud host stores your data, encrypted in transit and at rest. One AI provider processes your texts under a contract that forbids training on your data, and Jaga never trains AI on it. Jaga connects through Plaid, which works with most US banks and credit unions. You sign in on your bank’s own screen; Jaga gets read-only access to balances and transactions and never sees your login. A cloud host stores your data, encrypted in transit and at rest.
No. Jaga never moves, holds or receives your money. Reading your accounts is read-only through Plaid. When a move makes sense, like $8,000 from savings to a high-yield account, Jaga texts you the amount, both accounts and a link to your own bank, and you make the move there. It can also remind you on a schedule you set. Jaga never logs in as you, never calls a company as you, and never messages anyone but you. Text PAUSE to freeze every reminder.
It doesn’t pay people for you, on purpose. To get paid back, it drafts a payment-request link (Venmo, Cash App or similar) that you send yourself. Jaga never messages anyone but you, and it never moves money.
No. Jaga is a financial technology company, not a bank, broker-dealer or registered investment adviser. It gives you facts about your own money and does the tasks you approve. Your money stays in your own accounts.
It never recommends specific stocks, funds, ETFs or crypto. It can explain general ideas like a Roth IRA in plain English, and show how much you could set aside each month without touching your bills.
As often as you choose. By default it sends at most one proactive text a day, plus a Sunday summary, and nothing during quiet hours (10 PM–8 AM). Every proactive text names the dollars at stake, and you’ll never get an upsell in the thread.
It works in iMessage, so for now you need an iPhone, iPad or Mac. Plain texting for other phones comes later. On a computer, click Text Jaga and scan the QR code with your phone. Messages opens with your first text ready.
Free costs nothing. Plus is free for 14 days, no card. On day 14 you’re back on Free unless you’ve added a card. With one, Plus is $60 a year (that’s $5 a month) or $8 month to month, and we text you 3 days before every charge. Cancel anytime by texting END PLAN. Plus runs to the end of what you’ve paid for, then you’re back on Free. STOP ends every text, pauses every reminder and stops Plus from renewing. Text START to pick up where you left off.

So cancelling a $17.99 monthly subscription counts as $215.88.
Jaga will never ask for your password, PIN or a security code. Its links go only to jaga.example or straight to the company named in the text, like Hulu’s own cancel page, a Venmo request link, or your own bank after you say yes to a move. When you choose to connect a bank, a jaga.example link opens Plaid, where you sign in on your bank’s own screen; a bank link for a move comes only after your yes, and your bank’s app works just as well. If a text you didn’t ask for sends you to sign in anywhere, it isn’t us. Jaga only ever texts you from jagacore@icloud.com.
Jaga is built only for money. It works from your real linked accounts and shows the transactions behind every number, it texts you first when something needs your attention, and it never sees your other conversations. It also can’t act without your yes, and it never moves your money.
It can happen. Jaga is an AI and can make mistakes. When it isn’t sure, it says so, and every number comes with receipts you can tap to see the transactions behind it. Since it acts only on your yes and never moves money itself, you can check before you approve, and PAUSE freezes every reminder.
